Test of Determining Geopotential Difference between Two Sites at Wuhan Based on Optical Clocks’ Frequency Comparisons

Applications of optical clocks in physical geodesy for determining geopotential are increasing interest to scientists as the accuracy improves and clock size becomes more compact. In this study, we propose a data processing method using ensemble empirical mode decomposition technique determine difference between two sites Wuhan based on frequency comparison clocks. We use record Ca+ fiber transfer method, provided by Innovation Academy Precision Measurement Science Technology, Chinese Sciences (Wuhan, China). By comparisons obtained 42.50 ± 1.03 m2?s?2 (equivalent height 4.33 0.11 m) sites, which is excellent compared 42.56 0.29 4.34 0.03 measured spirit leveling. The results show that promising potential unifying world system.
